This painting is significant to the history of the Landry family. The Landrys arrived in Nova Scotia in 1640 from France, and they eventually settled in this area near Windsor. Here they farmed, fished and prospered until 1755 when they were "relocated" by the British. I like the bold splashes of color in this one.
